Solomon V. Lacer joined the 53rd in Indianapolis on or about Feb 1862. He died of pneumonia at Savannah Tennessee on 28 April 1862. He is interred at Shiloh National Cemetery, Pittsburgh Landing Tennessee, Section M Grave Number 2891. I have further information from his family pension application.
