Charles Morgan enlisted in the spring of 1775 under Gen. Lacy, Col. Wm. Bridge; Friday's Fort under Gen. Lee Create n Springs under Gen Lacy. After about 3 months he received Captain's Commission from Gov of S.C. Later served under Col. Thomas Neale, 4 months; Col. Thos. Brannon, 3 months; & Col. Thos. Sumpter 3 months.
