Floyd Cemetery

This is part of a letter from Albert R. Floyd dated 4 Feb. 1948 and he lived in Chicago at that time.

"Several years ago, I compiled a Warrick County Cemetery list of the dead, and on the land which Jonathan Floyd entered in 1838, I found an old deserted cemetery which is known as the Floyd Cemetery. Here below I am listing several of the names I found there which I am confident are members of Jonathan Floyd's family."

Several other markers are at this cemetery, however, I do not think they were for members of the Floyd family."

Although this cemetery is fairly well kept, it is in the middle of nowhere and there is evidence of vandalism. Several stones are broken off the base and missing. Many are smooth now and none of the dates or information is readable.
